Booking A Trip

Our goal is to ensure guests to have a fun and educational day on the water. The ice fishing trips we offer are fully guided, thus all equipment is provided and guides remain with guests the entire trip to assist with anything needed. Ice fishing rates shown include two people, but we can accommodate larger groups. Please call for special pricing on groups of five or more.

For those looking for lodging accommodations, we have special rates available at various hotels and rental homes throughout areas we fish. Hotel rooms and rental homes may depend on availability. Please ask about this service when calling to book your trip.

Waters guided during the ice fishing season include: Lake Koshkonong, Gibbs Lake, Rock Lake, and Clear Lake. Other waters may be available upon request.

Call 608-290-3929 to schedule your trip.

What to expect

Depending on location, guides will either walk groups a short distance to fishing areas or transport groups by ATV's to farther locations. We provide a variety of equipment for guests to use based off the species of fish targeted. Equipment includes Beaver Dam tip ups, Beaver Dam ice rods, Humminbird sonar units, and numerous brands of tackle. To ensure guests stay comfortably warm throughout the toughest conditions, we also provide insulated Eskimo Ice Fishing shelters equipped with Big Buddy propane heaters. Along with portable ice shelters, we also have a 6x12 permanent shack with TV that can be used if ice conditions allow.

Your guides will offer a variety of tips and techniques making your future time on the water more productive. Some examples of topics they can cover include, seasonal fish behavior, weather pattern effects, jigging techniques, sonar interpretation, and much more. If you are looking to do or learn something specific, please let them know.

We focus on having fun, education, and providing an overall great fishing experience. We are also a big supporter of selective harvest, so after quickly getting some great photos, large female game fish are released unless they're mortally wounded during the catch. If a trophy fish is landed, we strongly encourage getting a replica mount and will quickly assist in getting all required measurements prior to release. For guests wanting to keep fish to eat, we recommend 1 eater sized walleye per person, 1 eater sized pike per person, and up to 10 pan fish per person.

Ice Fishing School

Along with guided ice fishing trips, we also offer ice fishing classes throughout the winter. These classes are intended to not only introduce new anglers to ice fishing, but they can also help seasoned ice anglers hone their skills.  All ages are welcome.

Classes are 8 hours long. Guests will spend the morning rotating through skill stations and spend the entire afternoon only fishing.  Each skill station is manned by a local guide who will cover topics specifically related to their assigned station. Although education is the goal, all guests will still have the opportunity to catch fish throughout the entire day. All equipment and bait is provided, along with a grilled lunch and non-alcohol beverages.

Skill stations include:

Auger Use, Equipment Set Up, Bait Management

- Jigging & Electronics

- Tip Up Fishing

- Ice Safety & Simulated Rescue
