Booking A Trip

Our goal is to ensure guests have a fun and educational day on the water. The ice fishing trips we offer are fully guided, meaning someone will be with you the entire time to assist. All equipment and bait needed will be provided, however it is important to please dress accordingly for cold Wisconsin winter weather.

Our ice fishing rates includes two people, however extra people can be added for an additional fee. Please call for special rates if booking a group of six or more people.

If needing lodging accommodations, we have special rates available at various hotels and rental homes throughout area we fish. Availability of hotel rooms and rental homes can depend on the date, so please call ahead if looking at this option.

Waters guided during the ice fishing season include numerous lakes in South Central Wisconsin. Other waters may be available upon request.

What to expect

Depending on location, guests may walk a short distance to fishing areas or be transported to areas located further out on the lake. All needed fishing equipment and bait is provided. This includes Beaver Dam tip ups, Beaver Dam ice rods, Humminbird sonar units, and numerous brands of tackle. To help ensure guests stay comfortable throughout the toughest conditions, we also provide insulated Eskimo Ice Fishing shelters equipped with Big Buddy propane heaters. Along with portable ice shelters, we also have a permanent 6x12 heated ice house, equipped with 5 floor holes, digital TV, and portable toilet. This ice house can only be used if ice conditions allow.

Once on the ice, your guide will get lines set and take time to explain a variety of tips/techniques that will help make your future time on the water more productive. Examples of topics covered include, sonar use, jigging techniques, properly setting tip-ups for different species of fish, ice safety, and much more. If you are looking to do or learn something specific, please let your guide know.

We focus on having fun, education, and providing an overall great fishing experience. We also support and practice selective harvest, so after quickly getting some great photos, all walleyes over 20" and pike over 30" are released unless mortally wounded during the catch. These larger fish are likely females and their release helps maintain our great fisheries. If a trophy fish is landed, we strongly encourage getting a replica mount and will quickly assist in getting all required measurements prior to release.

For guests wanting to keep fish to eat, we ask to limit harvest to 1 walleye per person, 1 pike per person, and 10 pan fish per person.
