Booking A Trip

Our goal is to ensure guests have a fun and educational day on the water. The ice fishing trips we offer are fully guided, thus all equipment is provided and guides remain with guests the entire trip to assist with anything needed. Ice fishing rates shown include two people, however extra people can be added for an additional fee. Please call for special pricing on large groups of six or more.

For those looking for lodging accommodations, we have special rates available at various hotels and rental homes throughout areas we fish. Hotel rooms and rental homes may depend on availability. Please ask about this service when calling to book your trip.

Waters guided during the ice fishing season include numerous lakes in South Central Wisconsin, such as Lake Koshkonong, Gibbs Lake, Rock Lake, Lake Ripley, Clear Lake, and Storrs Lake. Other waters may be available upon request.

Call 608-290-3929 to schedule your trip.

What to expect

Depending on location, guides will either walk groups a short distance to fishing areas or transport groups to farther locations. We provide all needed equipment for guests to use based off the species of fish targeted. Equipment includes Beaver Dam tip ups, Beaver Dam ice rods, Humminbird sonar units, and numerous brands of tackle. To ensure guests stay comfortably warm throughout the toughest conditions, we also provide insulated Eskimo Ice Fishing shelters equipped with Big Buddy propane heaters. Along with portable ice shelters, we also have a 6x12 insulated aluminum shack equipped with a propane heater and a digital antenna TV that can be used if ice conditions allow.

Once on the ice, our guides will get lines set and also take time to explain a variety of tips/techniques that will help make your future time on the water more productive. Some examples of topics they'll cover include, jigging techniques, sonar interpretation, setting tip-ups, ice safety and much more. If you are looking to do or learn something specific, please let them know.

We focus on having fun, education, and providing an overall great fishing experience. We are also a big supporter of selective harvest, so after quickly getting some great photos, large female game fish are released unless they're mortally wounded during the catch. If a trophy fish is landed, we strongly encourage getting a replica mount and will quickly assist in getting all required measurements prior to release. For guests wanting to keep fish to eat, we recommend 1 eater sized walleye per person, 1 eater sized pike per person, and up to 10 pan fish per person.
